Ogun Deputy Speaker Hon Kunle Oluomo, invests massively in Sport, to construct IFO Sport Arena

The Deputy Speaker of Ogun State House of Assembly, Hon Taiwo Olakunle Oluomo is set to construct a sporting arena for the use of youths in his Constituency in Ifo-1 motived to reawakening sporting activities in the community.

According to a statement issued by his media office, Oluomo is constructing the arena because of the agony most of the youth encounter in displaying their talents. He recounted how lands used during his younger age has become an abode to many home.

The arena when constructed will house Football field, Basket Ball Court, Volley Ball Court, Lawn Tennis court, Boxing  Ring and Table Tennis Platform fully equipped.

In his statement, he noted that the land acquired for the construction located at Former SDP Secretariat along Ibogun-Coker road had been in tussle of litigation between the government and the land claimers over improper acquisition and non-payment of compensation which he has finally put the issue to rest by assuming all financial responsibilities as agreed by both parties involved.

After completion, the mini stadium will avail youths the opportunity of showcasing their talents to the world and a source of enjoying their leisure while appealing for their cooperation during and after the construction, he said.
Oluomo recently constructed over 8boreholes for his constituency some months back to mark his six years in office while he has been sponsoring free transport to students in his constituency. He has embarked on awarding of scholarships among others.
