Ogun Commissioner for Health ,Babatunde Ipaye has taken his word as a bond over the total reconstruction of Obada Health Center in Ijebu Igbo area of the state.
The Commissioner who during a demolition of a partial renovation of the health center said it was a dilettantish task embarked upon by the Senator representing Ogun East senatorial district Prince Buruji Kashamu.

He said the project though amateurish negates the Ogun Standard concept of construction in it’s entirety. He futhed said the government might have even allowed the construction if the Senator had consulted the state government and would have gotten the standardized design and plan meant for the health facility.

Few months back Ogun State government led by the Commissioner pulled down a partial ongoing renovation of the health facility which was embarked upon by Senator Buruji Kashamu. The Commissioner had told those who cares to listen that the real reconstruction of the facility was meant to begin few weeks after the time of demolition assuring the public and the constituents of Ijebu Igbo that the state government will construct a new health facility in line with best practices.

Speaking with amebohotnews on a telephone conversation, Ipaye said the reconstruction had started at the time he promised and will be commissioned as soon as it finishes and more of such to come soonest.

I’m happy you have gone through to capture the building by yourself and you can see the difference, their is a wide margin between what we demolish and what you can see,we will ensure it is commissioned and handed over for immediate usage.
