Leaders of All Progressives Congress (APC), Leguru Local Council Development Area, Ogun State have warned Otunba Babatunde Onakoya (Debasco) to stop parading himself as the leading leader of the LCDA.
Stakeholders of the party at a meeting held at the Leguru LCDA Secretariat, Ala on 12th April, 2017 reaffirmed their support for the leadership of Hon. Michael Olukoya, a one time House of Representative Member.
According to them, Hon. Olukoya’s leadership position was agreed to in a meeting of the stakeholders held on 1st September, 2016 where the notables within the party in Leguru LCDA were present.
They noted that Hon. Olukoya having served as a member of the House of Representative between 1979-1983 and served as Deputy Leading Leader to Late (Otunba) Olu Adebanjo and Asiwaju Olajide Awosedo have the needed experience to lead the party in the LCDA.
They warned Otunba Babatunde Onakoya (Debasco) whom they described as a man of questionable character to stop parading himself as the leading leader of the party in Leguru LCDA.
In their words, majority of the members of his group; Debasco group recently decamped to the opposition PDP and the sincerity of their leader, Otunba Babatunde Onakoya to the All Progressives Congress in the state is in doubt.
A copy of the resolution at their meeting has been sent to the State Chairman, All Progressives Congress, Ogun State for action.
