Ogun Election Update: I will embark on operation no potholes, Women empowerment is a must–Adekoya, Imoru Assures.

As Ogun Indigents begins the countdown for the October 8th election, the Candidate of the APC in Ijebu North Local Government today assures the people of the local government during a campaign rally at Oke Agbo Ward A that his administration will say NO to potholes on every major roads across the council area.According to the Candidate Adebayo Adekoya, he said the constituents will not only witness these developments but will also grease their palms and stomach respectively if voted into office. He reiterated that Senator Ibikunle Amosun immediately after the raining season, has assured a speedy completion of the overhead bridge at Obada Station. He said the Chiefs, Community leaders will be consulted on quarterly basis for feed back mechanism and reassessment.

On her part, the councillorship candidate for Oke Agbo Ward A, Olasile Imoru, began her address by appreciating all leaders in Oke Agbo especially, Dr (Asiwaju) Babatunde Ipaye the commissioner for health of the state, The Chairman of the transition committee Alh Mojeed Abdulrahmon Ekelojumati Oladele, the Party Vice Chairman in the local government Hon Ayinde Sulaiman and Otunba Augustine Olatunji Talabi a board member of Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Abeokuta for their unflinching support and anointing towards breaking the jinx of becoming the first female councillorship candidate in the Ward. She made it unambiguous that women empowerment will be her focal mission while bills that will bring forth economic self reliance and industriousness will also be a major task on her table. She pleaded for support. During her speech the womenwing took the center stage to support the candidates with serious of political lyrics.

The Vice Chairman of the party and a former house of assembly member, Hon Ayinde Sulaiman during his goodwill message analyzed to the listening community members that the change era is to be appreciated. He noted that if the PDP had been reelected rice for example would have sold for #50,000. He itemized various corruptible practices that threw the country into the mess of inflation. He assured the people that in no time, their will be relief and a light at the end of the tunnel.
The campaign rally which started from St Philip’s Anglican Primary School through Okemoro, Odomoro, Agbodo,Moborode, Okeerefon,Imagbon and a stop for public enlightenment at Itale Oke Agbo had many dignitaries, party leaders, party stalwarts, Community leaders and members in attendance.
