Ogun Election; Adekanmbi, Councillors visits Obas, Elders, Chiefs, Leaders, Excos to kick start campaign

As Candidates prepare for the October 8 local government and LCDA election, the APC Candidate for Ijebu Igbo West LCDA, Mr Adekanmbi Adegoke and the councillorship candidates in the area yesterday paid a courtesy visit to Obas and Chiefs in the area council, Elders and Leaders plus party local government executives.

The Obas, Abijaparako of Japara, Olokine of Ojowo and Kegbo of Atikori at their separate meeting agreed that it is high time all their wards join hands and forces together to support the party at the central. They eulogized and blessed the candidate Mr Adekanmbi for deeming it fit to pay royal homage. Words of advice were showered with royal blessings.

Similarly the Chiefs in Council, Elders forum and party leaders were also visited by the entourage of Mr Adekanmbi. In their separate meetings, pledges of support were guaranteed by them. In his speech at all meetings, Adekanmbi reiterated his readiness to contribute his quota towards the development of the LCDA if elected. “My words are my bond, I with my team will ensure we build our area, our names by God’s grace will be remembered for good and our area will flourish with developmental projects but we can’t do it alone,we need you all, your support,advice will always be welcomed by us all”.

Some of the leaders visited, Dr Gbolade Osinowo,  Oloritun Asekun, Alh (Hon) Ayinde Sulaiman, Ambassador Sokoya, Arch Yomi Banjoko expressed their readiness to support the administration if elected into office. “I supported you for three things,we belong to the same party, you are a successful career manabd educated person and lastly your gentleman’s attitude during the last election” , Osinowo expressed.

C.E.O Amebonews Adedapo David, Alh Ademola Balogun, Comfort Adenola (Mrs), Mr Musibau, Mr Mayowa Ogunnowo, Hon Osifuwa Deji, Hon Sojirin, Councillorship Candidates, Mrs C.O Sobowale, Women Leaders of APC, Mr Musibau and host of others were part of the entourage.
