Onanuga, Ipaye, Ojuku to attend Coronation as Ijebu-Igbo District Gets New Oba

Japara in Ijebu Igbo is a district out of the five districts that makes up ijebu Igbo paramountly ruled by Orimolusi. The stool of Japara became vacant over 4years ago which enthronement of a new king became almost impossible following serial dispute, crises and even deaths.

The newly elected King Oba Aderemi Adewale Ogunye who has fulfilled all traditional rites at Ogunelegi Idode will receive his instruments and staff of office today Friday 19th August 2016, at the St Luke’s Primary School, Japara, Ijebu Igbo by 11 am prompt.

The event is expected to be graced by Her Excellency Mrs Yetunde Onanuga the Deputy Governor of Ogun State, Hon Ojoku; The Commissioner for local government and chieftaincy title, Dr Ipaye Babatunde Commissioner for Health, Alhj Mojeed Oladele Ekelojumati; Chairman Ijebu North Local Government, Other Districts Obas in Ijebu Igbo, the Paramount Ruler of Ijebu Land Oba Sikiru Adetona  and other State Representatives.

The struggle to enthrone the new Abijaparako as gathered by amebo-hotnews was revisited by the Chairman of Ijebu North Mojeed Ekelojumati who made use of state machineries and elders in Ijebu Igbo such as Prof OGUNYE, Sen Biyi Durojaiye, Alh Mustapha Akeula, Dr Tunde Ipaye in ensuring peace is restored in the land. Similarly,work is in top gear in ensuring Orimolusi throne is filled before December 2016.
