Amebohotnews; it is our delight to have you as our host this morning and out of your tight schedule, you still gave us the time for this interview.

R; You are most welcome.

Q; Sir, as regards the newly created LCDA, do you think the economic dwindling of the nation won’t affect the smooth running?
R; From my experiencein life, it is when we create problem that we will have solution. You can’t afford not to try new things, it makes you a better person; so is the issue of creation of LCDA. The issue of LCDA is a development stride, it ought to have been during Osoba’s administration but as God will have it Ibikunle Amosun ensured it is fulfilled in his own era.

Q; OGSEIC has fixed and announced October 8 as the date of local government election, how well is your party prepared for the election?

R; We have been preparing long before now. We have been expecting this,we want to develop because we understand the significance of LCDA, so we have started the preparation in earnest.

Q; OGSEIC according to their guideline  indicated that party primaries must end by 15th of July, what are the strategies you have put in place to ensure the exercise is rancour free?

R; The beautiful thing about democracy is provision of opportunity for a consensur candidate or going for primaries. We are not exempted from that. We shall preach for a consensus but in the absence of that, they should go for a free and fair primaries; but I can assure you our children understands the music of consensus. However, we won’t deprive any of them the opportunity to test their strength on the field of primaries

Q;There have been rumours flying around in many wards visited by Amebohotnews about endorsement of some aspirants by some party stalwarts, won’t such affect your mantra of free and fair primaries?

R; You can’t rule out rumours in politics, that is another beautiful thing about it. It keeps you on your toes but I can assure anybody that they are mere rumours or ziggy. Transparency is a cardinal watch word, we must not do anything that will later affect our party. Let everyone of them who doesn’t believe in consensus candidate view his testimonial.

Q; After the primaries their will be campaign, how prepared is your party to get victory at the election?

R; Let us continue to pray, our Governor Sen Ibikunle Amosun has tried his best in repositioning the State. We shall continue to pray that he finishes all of his projects. Be rest assured that all hands will be on deck to ensure we are victorious. We will campaign massively and by God’s garce, the people are with us.

Q; On the final note, what is your advise for the aspirants all over the State?

My simple advise is, the interest of the party should be a major target not our individual projection. We should not cause any problem by imposition. We must strive to build the party now and in future. If you are not picked today, there is always a tomorrow.

Amebohotnews; indeed we must appreciate you once again sir, and we do hope that after the election we will be given another opportunity to have a word with you.
R; of course this house is your house. You see, I have heard good things about your personality and a very sound job younare doing giving us first class information in our local government, believe me your reward will soon manifest and I strongly believe you have just started. Once again you are welcome.
