Gbagada Rotary Club Renovated Ago Iwoye Water System Toilets at Ibipe Health Centre.


The rotary club of gbagada ably led by Otunba Sola Adenuga rehabilitated the toilet facility of Ibipe health centre in Ago Iwoye yesterday 28 of March 2016.


The rotary club chairman eulogized the political will of the Transition Chairman Mojeed Ekelojumati for fast tracking the approval for the execution of the project. He said it is hoped that more of such projects will be executed at every point in time.


Responding before the official commissioning, the Chairman of Ijebu North Local Government, Alh Mojeed Ekelojumati, lauded the exemplary initiative of the Gbagada rotary club for coming back home to give back to the community they hail from, Ago Iwoye.
“You have conveyed to the world that you are illustrious children of this great town, you brought water, you brought life.”


He futher showered encomiums on Kabiyesi the Ebumawe of Ago Iwoye, who he described as an embodiment of goodluck and progressive development.


Ebumawe of Ago Iwoye, HRM Oba Adenuga, described the President of the rotary club as his role model while he was still working in the banking sector. He thereafter challenge other indigenes to come back home and contribute meaningfully to the community ” otuoke in Bayelsa State was not as big as ololo quarters in ago iwoye but today it is a modern town”.  He showered praises on Governor Ibikunle Amosun for proposing the creation of the LCDA in ago iwoye especially which as Ibipe the location of the health centre as its headquarter. He appealed to the house of assembly to earnestly pass the proposal.


Also at the commissioning were, Bishop of Ijebu Diocese Methodist, Rt Rev Osunjuyigbe Isaac Adebola, the Chief Imam of Ago Iwoye, Alh Alli Adeniyi, President Rotary Club Ago Iwoye Olootu Dipo Sofowora, Otunba N.A Olusanya the Lewu Of Idode,Ago Iwoye and many other dignitaries.
