  1. Sustaining the corporate integrity of an organisation, particularly, press and media is a function of fair, accurate and unbiased reporting. The nosing resume of APC Chairmanship aspirants given seem fair but for the last clause (..HE IS AN ASPIRANT TO WATCH OUT FOR) credited for the 1st aspirant presented

    1. Exactly sir. Objectivity and Fairness is the watchword of the profession. A biased press house loses integrity, audience and credibility faster than any other thing.

Mentioning candidate pillars (i. e, alleged sponsors or supporters) is not totally healthy. I think it will be more professional to just read out their profile and let the other unsolicited back-ups be in the background. I am sure this will be put in cognisanze in other publications. Thank you.

  2. Where did the Femi Nurudeen obtain his Masters degree? The world will know the business of credit card scheme he has been doing and verifiable fraud of identity he was engaged in. The Election Tribunal will surely be a good spectacle at the right time.

    1. He never mentioned he has Masters Degree. It was an error on the part of the publisher. However can Mr Joseph Daodu presents evidences to back up his claim on the credit card and fraud of identity indictments?

  5. On Femi Nurudeen, let it be on record that he is not a Chief as at the press time. He is a Prince. A ‘Mr’ is more preferred in this context.

Again, the phrase “but claimed the village of the said district” is fallacious. You dont claim where you belong. You don’t play politics with journalism. The publisher needs to be unequivocal, factual and less-erroneous.

    Thank You.

      1. Amebo, ur statement depicts ur ignorance of ijebu igbo political structure, Osun ward is d rural area of oke sopin and oke agbo ward while Ome ward is d rural area of Ojowo/japara and Atikori ward, anybody from oke sopin or oke agbo can lay claim to Osun ward while anybody from ojowo/ japara an Atikori can lay claim to Ome ward

  6. I must say kudos for this initiative as this again allows everyone to familiarise with our potential local government chairman in-waiting! Meanwhile, while going through the comments, l came across one made by Mr Joseph Daodu, which l perceived as potential unhealthy mind game in discrediting a particular contestant “M r Femi Nurudeen”. Could Mr Joseph be reminded Nigeria has moved from era of political character assassination since the emergence of the current able President Buhari, who such people like you might have querried his SSCE certificate, but has yet presently turned to be Nigeria saviour in most difficult time in the history of our nation. Yes, questions might be asked about my intention with this comment, but l feel it is extremely important for someone like Mr Joseph Daodu, to be more conscious of his comments regardless of political affiliation and stop damaging people character, get ur fact right (check posted profile of Mr Femi Nurudeen if there is any MSc you were alleging his falsification), for the sake of our dear local government which has produced best brains and entrepreneurs but could not move forward bcos of selfish interests. It may be of interest dt l know at least 80% of these contestants and their acclaimed sponsors. l can confirm that very few of them will have the interest of the local government, but yet we need to choose the tested, trusted and integrity personified among them, and dt decision should be an informed one made by the people of the local government. And for Mr Femi Nurudeen especially, he is well known both Nigeria and UK and his track record speak for itself. Politics is not a do or die, if you are privileged to be there today, ur three years will lapse on a day and someone else will take over Remember, you are all co-autor to this history book be written at moment! God bless Nigeria! God bless Ogun state, God bless Ijebu North Local govt!.

  7. Thanks @Banky!

What we want is development of our local government and not use of political platforms in getting at people you barely knew or might have been privileged to have met bcos of ur selfish interest. Just be reminded of legal implication of ur careless talk bcos of ur selfish interest. My response to Mr Joseph was for sense of direction. I won’t be surprised if someone start asking if Femi Nuberu was from Ago Iwoye, or asking if Otunba Osifeso is from Ondo, or asking if Femi Nurudeen was born in Ijebuland? All these are political blackmails which always provide base for unnecessarydistraction from the work at hand. Like l said, l know at least 80% of these people both home and abroad, and Femi Nurudeen is not an exemption and very upright in his company business in UK. Likewise Femi Nuberu who his fight against cultism in OSU almost cost him his life, and cost his dearest friend Femi Onanuga or Femi Oshun his arm! So, let everyone bring out he has to offer and let the party decide on a fair play ground in the best interest of our local government.

  8. I think Mr Joseph Daudu must still be living in the past as he has failed to realise that this kind of blackmailing can’t fly without proves to back it.
Anyway, In politics, people will go out their ways to rubbish the chances of their opponents. I want to believe this is a kind. But at this juncture, I will advise Mr Joseph to try and engage the house with  credible and constructive issues and let go the falsehood.

To Mrs toyin n mr banky, I suppose your dismay on a reckless statement made by Mr Joseph daodu should not be so striking, rather it signifies that he’s not different from the previous leaders who had failed to put the community in good shape. I think there are better issues to address than mere junks n blunders. Even if he’s being paid to do this or it’s done via sentiments, I want to assure him that there more reasonable people in ijebu north who can visibly figure out the intent of the junks you called a blackmail……….
